Feedback from Week 5 -8th June

Thank you to all the children who have sent work in for us to have a look at. We have enjoyed looking through it and have been very impressed with all your hard work.

You have continued your learning with the book The Firework Maker's Daughter, which we hope you are enjoying. We have read some great writing from you. Remember when using a fronted adverbial to put a comma after it before continuing with your sentence. Your spellings are continuing to improve, with some great scores on the spelling quizzes - well done!

This week you have done a fantastic job in maths, identifying fractions of a quantity or shape as well as learning about equivalent fractions. Remember you can use the whole part model or a bar model to help you when working out factions.

You have been busy with your foundation subjects this week!

We hope you have enjoyed your French courtesy of Madam Baker. We have seen some lovely pictures of you exploring shadows and have been impressed with your understanding of transparent and opaque objects.

In RE you have been learning about Judaism, with some great story maps being sent to us.

For those Year 2 children who are currently in school, we are amazed with the resilience you have shown working with different adults and in getting used to the new routines. We are so pleased to hear and see that you are trying so hard with your learning. Well done!

We are so proud of all of you!
