Welcome to year 5's online learning feedback for the week beginning Monday 1st June.
We hope you all enjoyed a well deserved week off even though we did have a little bit of rain! Thank you again to all of the children who continue to send their work in each week. As always we are extremely impressed with all your hard work. If you have work from this week that you have not emailed over to us yet please send it to Keystage2@riverview.staffs.sch.uk. We would love to see it!
This week is maths you have been working on comparing and converting between different units of measure such as miles and kilometres and kg and lb. We are so proud of all the effort you have put into your maths learning this week as this is a very tricky topic and requires lots of practise. Don't worry if you are still feeling a bit unsure about this learning as you can continue to practise it over the next few weeks and when you are back at school.
It has been great to read your diary entries! It was lovely that many of you chose to write your diary about life in lockdown as we were able to read all about the things you have been doing! Remember to reread your writing once you have finished and edited anything you have forgotten to include. Don't forget your capital letters and ending punctuation too!
You have worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks learning all about the Medieval Monarchs and it was great to read some of your essays that explained everything you had learnt. We hope you enjoyed identifying different types of rocks and had lots of fun during your music lesson too!
