Pirate Maths Day 24/11/23

Pirate Maths Day! 

What a fantastic day we had celebrating all things Maths! In Reception we all enjoyed dressing up as pirates and taking part in pirate themed Maths activities alongside Captain Morgan and our parents. We created repeating patterns, put the correct number of coins into treasure chests, painting with numicon, creating number and numicon flags, threading the correct number of beads onto a pirate flags and practising writing our numbers in sand.
