Science Week 2024

The theme for this year’s British Science Week was ‘Time’ and pardon the pun, but what a fantastic time we had!

The week began by researching famous scientist, Caroline Herschel, and her incredible contributions to time in the 1800s. We created fact files, which can be seen by clicking on the subpage below.

On Tuesday, things got a little gross as we learnt about mould and how it can affect our respiratory system. Alongside learning how mould can affect our health, we looked at ways to prevent mould growth.

On Wednesday, things got practical as we investigated particles. In small groups, we also worked on creating line graphs represent data and we made lots of progress.

It was such a fun week and really helped to develop our love for science even more!
