Miss Farmer, Mrs Croft and Miss Rafferty help support teaching and learning throughout Kingfisher class.

Our Kingfisher class consists of children from Year 1 and Year 2.

We aim to provide high quality support to pupils with a range of additional needs, pupils may have learning difficulties and/or physical difficulties.

We understand that every child is unique and may require different forms of support to reach their full potential. Our dedicated staff assist pupils who may experience difficulties in their learning journey. Our job is to ensure that these children not only overcome their challenges but also thrive in an environment that promotes achievement, participation and independence.

We are particularly focused on providing an environment where all pupils feel valued and secure. We believe that confidence and trust are paramount in the educational process, and we strive to create a classroom community where every child is respected and supported by both their peers and our staff.

The members of our Kingfisher team are always available to provide a caring and consistent approach, ensuring that each child knows they have someone to turn to whenever they require assistance.
