Between Monday 5th and Friday 9th February, we celebrated children’s mental health week, spending time to think about our own mental health in many ways.
’The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse’ by. Charlie Mackesy was the stimulus used this year, which is what we used to begin the week.
We made pieces of art inspired by mental health, learning about colours and how they represent different moods and emotions. We also learnt how to blend effectively when painting.
To end our week, we participated in a workshop called ‘Blast Off’ and there are pictures of that below.
