Nursery admissions information

River View Nursery School are currently accepting applications.

If you would like your child to attend our nursery then please contact the school directly to find out about availability .  We offer funded 15 and 30 hour places to children from the term after they are 3. However, we can offer paid places for three year old children prior to this.

The table below gives information on when your child is eligible to join the nursery or reception classes.

15 and 30 hours funded:

Every child in the UK is entitled to 15 hours funded childcare regardless of if the parents work. If both parents do work, then your child might be entitled to 30 hours funded childcare. To find out if your eligible,  please create an account on the Government Gateway site and fill in your details. At the end of the process, if your are eligible, you will receive an 11 digit code starting with the number 5, this is the code we will need to be able to claim for the 30hrs on your behalf.

This code needs to be re-confirmed every 3 months to make sure your details haven't changed. It is really important that you do this so we can continue claiming for your child. If you fail to re-confirm by the deadline then your child will be have to drop down to 15 hours per week. 

Uniform:

Nursery children are expected to wear the River View uniform. 

*Green jumper/cardigan.

*Black/grey trousers or shorts.

*Black/grey dress or skirt.

*Black school shoes.

*Green and white summer dress.
