The Day the Crayons Made Friends
 

During theme week we carried out a variety of activities all linked to the story The Day the Crayons Made Friends. We had lots of fun exploring the history of the crayon and creating our own mini drawings using different drawing materials. 

We carried out a range of team building skills in P.E that linked to friendship. 
 

Burton Fire Station visit

During the Autumn term, Year 5 visited Burton Fire Station, as part of their Safe and Sound event. The children spent the afternoon exploring areas such as: safety in the community, water safety, safety with money and fire safety. Please see below some pictures of what we got up to during our visit!
