Autumn Term
This week in maths we have been identifying similarities and differences across a range of criteria, including colour, shape, size, function and by number. We thought about the different ways we could match and sort the items and shared our ideas with the group.
This week we have been exploring patterns. We began by recognising and identifying patterns in a variety of contexts. We then moved on to creating our own patterns and also spent time spotting mistakes in patterns! Finally, we had lots of fun exploring different ways to present patterns.
