In our lesson today we looked at the features around our local area. We explored our local area using google earth. We then looked at an Ariel map of our school and its surrounding features and tried to plot them in the right location.
Today we made our own maps of our classrooms, thinking about where key features like doors, tables, sink need to be places, we loved used a range of objects to create this.
We used an Ariel map of our playground to help us locate key features. We used directional language to describe where the features are on the playground.
