Today we started our new D.T lesson, Cooking and Nutrition. We began by discussing what nutrients are and how they play an important role in keeping our bodies healthy. We then explored a variety of food labels to investigate the different amounts of nutrients each food provides. Finally, we completed the traffic light information labels for each product and reflected on which foods are considered a healthy choice.
Today we learnt all about the importance of eating a healthy breakfast. We then researched some healthy breakfast choices and shared our favourite recipes.
