Leon and the Place Between

In Autumn 2 we are reading...

We started our English text by visiting the circus! We were amazed by the magic tricks we saw and couldn’t wait to try them for ourselves. We learnt how to make a coin disappear under a cup, make a pencil bend, make a coin magically reappear onto a plate and finally, make a cloth magically appear!

Of course, no magician would be complete without a wand which we made and decorated with lots of magic and sparkles. Finally, we designed and coloured our own top hats and posters to invite people to our magic show (whilst eating some yummy popcorn).

Today, we worked in groups to extend sentences using a range of coordinating conjunctions.
