My name is not refugee
In English this term, we are focusing on a book called My Name is Not Refugee by Kate Milner. We are working towards writing a diary entry. to hook the children into our new book, we had a food tasting in our first lesson, sampling foods from different countries all over the world.
This week we were exploring the characters feelings from the story. We then thought about what the characters could do when they were bored. We learnt how to play Dots and Boxes and had to write instructions to tell the characters in the story how to play the game.
