World Book Week
Endeavour to love reading
This week, we will be combining the celebration of River View joining the Endeavour Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) with the run-up to World Book Day. Therefore, our theme is:
‘Endeavour to love reading!’
Throughout the week, we will participate in a variety of activities to inspire a love of reading.
To start the week off, children and staff shared their favourite books and authors. It was lovely to see all of the different texts you enjoy reading at home!
Later on, we discussed how we could develop and continue our love for reading. Working in groups, we sorted cards into a diamond nine shape. We ranked the cards to show the most important thing when it comes to enjoying reading.
