Pirate Maths Day

On Friday 24th November, something strange happened at River View... we all turned into pirates for the day! Even more strange was that a pirate arrived at our school from the Carribean - he was called Captain Morgan!

The day began with an assembly where Captain Morgan told us that he had some maths quests for us to complete, then we went into our houses and completed maths quests on time, money, capacity and place value. The treasure hunt for odds and evens was very popular as was the capacity challenge - it involved water!

A lot of fun was had during River View's 2023 Maths day - arggh me hearties!
