Week 1

We had a wonderful Friday this week as we learnt the song ‘What Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor?’. We were a little reluctant to start with but soon got into it! The following musical terms were discussed and learnt too:

  • tempo
  • dynamics
  • rhythm
  • melody
  • syncopation

 

During the afternoon session, we were introduced  to the cup game, which is a rhythm game used to enhance understanding of accompaniments.
